How to mount a Windows RAID array in GNU+Linux

I was struggling to find a way to import my Windows software RAID0 partition into a Debian based GNU/Linux distribution. I had tried several different methods before finally finding a solution that worked.

We'll be using the tool ldmtool for this. ldmtool is described as "A tool to manage Microsoft Windows dynamic disks". Here's how to use it:

First, Download the tool.

sudo apt-get install ldmtool

Then, have ldmtool import your Microsoft Windows software RAID partition.

sudo ldmtool create all

Your RAID0 partition should automatically be imported and available to use in your file-system! By default, it will be mounted at /media/$username
